In My Shoes, Inc is a 501c3 Charitable Organization, with experienced Educational Strategists, doing business as The National Parent Education Center (TNPEC). The organization started in 2001 and is based in Decatur, GA.
Our Mission:
To Create, Develop and Expand High Quality Education in the United States, making Quality Education the norm and helping children increase and reach their Greatest Potential.

Impact Statement
TNPEC’s goal is to make Quality Education the norm. Currently, most State constitutions provide only for adequate education.

We support all types of schooling processes that meet the educational needs
of a diverse student population.
Our Goal
Our yearly goal is to partner with 100 schools and organizations, which enhances the social, economic, and environmental conditions of its community through education.
In My Shoes, Inc. was established to improve education through a community approach. We call our approach “Total Involvement”.
In My Shoes Inc – The National Parent Education Center will utilize the services of educators, business owners, volunteers, and other community resources.

Queen Phyllis L-Miata is a Spiritual Teacher, Humanitarian and Social Entrepreneur. Phyllis has a passion for excellence in education. She has been in the educational field for over 20 years.
Phyllis grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She earned her B.S. degree from Howard University in 1986. Phyllis relocated to Georgia in 1994. In 1998, she earned her M.Ed. from Georgia State University and her Administration and Supervision endorsement from the State University of West Georgia in 2002.
As the Founder of In My Shoes, Inc – The National Parent Education Center and Parents the Power, LLC, she uses her gifts to aid parents and youth to live their Greatest potential.
