What do you know about Quality Education?
"Quality Education affects Educational Attainment, which affects Future Earnings, which affects
Generational Wealth of Family."

HONEST and SUCCESSFUL
In My Shoes, Inc.
was founded as an answer to the lack of honesty. Some of the problems plaguing schools across Georgia and across the Nation are:

1) Low standards and low expectations
2) Grade inflation
3) Inadequate curriculum
4) Willingness to mislead parents about their child's abilities
5) Willingness to mislead students about their abilities...

Over the years, In My Shoes Inc.-The National Parent Education Center has become recognized as the serious organization for parents who are serious about getting the highest level of quality education for their child.

Sincerely,
Phyllis Austin, Founder

In most of the Nation, the Standard is
Adequate Education, i.e. Adequate Yearly Progress.
Therefore, when your child earns A’s and B’s,
it’s on an Adequate Scale.

Our Standard is QUALITY EDUCATION.

Perspectives
I have been working with Ms. Phyllis Austin & TNPEC for the last 4 years. Within that time, there have been a number of issues that Ms. Austin has helped me to deal with regarding the DeKalb County School System, from meeting my child’s educational needs, school transfers, bullying, discrimination, etc.

II NCLB Violations

*Program Fraud Complaint Filed with Office of Inspector General
*Complaint filed with ACLU
*Complaint filed with Georgia Professional Practices

During the course of fighting for Student X's Educational needs, we recognized that DCSS was misleading and  misrepresenting the requests of parents to move students under school choice.  In DCSS, there are two types of school choice:  Federal NCLB and State HB 251.  DCSS was informing many parents that their request falls under State HB 251 when the request should have been authorized under the Federal guidelines of NCLB.

Many more parents' NCLB rights may have been violated.
